What sets us apart
We are public safety practitioners and academicians with more than 200 years of combined experience in the profession. We are proven leaders that operate or have operated emergency communications centers (ECCs) around the United States. We have been trusted to lead on the local, state, and federal levels of government and have been influential in the transformation of police departments, emergency communications centers, and state training centers as well as the largest public safety communications association in the world. We have been under the headsets and understand the issues being faced by 9-1-1 today and have successfully addressed those issues in our own organizations. Our practice focus
We have observed and believe that the most common issues in ECCs today are not caused by new technologies or aging equipment. The primary issues faced today in 9-1-1 are people issues! Over the past several decades we have seen problems with organizational mediocrity, poor workplace culture and a lack of commitment to excellence and to team. These are issues we have faced. These are issues we have successfully resolved. These are the issues we are passionate about. These are the issues harming the 9-1-1 community today and these issues are the focus of our practice.
The agency role

How we do it
As a part of our diagnostic methodology, we deploy surveys, the results of which are tabulated by a third party provider before we ever arrive at your agency. Along with additional fact finding methods, we will partner with you to get a clear understanding of the exact causes of the issues you are encountering. From there we work with you to develop a plan of action for improvement. This in depth process when implemented will lead to an improved workplace culture, a committed team striving together to be the best and organizational excellence. Organizational excellence doesn’t happen quickly or after a consulting firm does an on site and sends a report. It doesn't occur with a "one and done" mentality. It is hard work and takes agency commitment and diligence. We will be there with you for the duration helping you achieve your organizational excellence objectives.
